A few weeks ago, while out shopping, I stumbled upon this cute pink craft box. It was only $2, so I knew I could do something with it—even if not for crafts. Then, voila! I realized it was perfect for organizing my nail polish—something I’ve been needing to do for a while. I mean, Amber and I have nail polish all over the place. So, let me share with you my nail polish organization ideas.
Nail Polish Organization Idea: Using a Craft Box
The key to having nail polish ready when you need it is organization. So, I’ve been using this craft box to store my nail polish for about a month now, and I love it. I thought some of you might like it too, so let me tell you how I organize it.
The top of the craft box has two compartments with lift-up tops. On the left, I put all the base coats, top coats, and similar items. I also have my mini bottles of polish, so they won’t get lost among the others. On the right, I keep the glitter polishes. My daughter isn’t a big fan of glitter nail polish because it’s hard to remove, but I love it, so I put it on top, so I can always grab it first. 🙂 Both of these compartments close securely, and I have no trouble opening them. If I were you, I’d try my best not to drop the craft box, haha.
In the tray inside, I have nail polish remover, hand sanitizer, hand cream, cotton swabs (they’re in the red box and freezer box), nail files, scissors (they’re under something else), and those little pads for removing nail polish. Underneath the tray are all my nail polishes. I tried organizing them by color, but they often don’t stay that way for long when my daughter gets her hands on my nail polish. I might have to keep that fact from her. 😛 I also have some cotton balls in there. She prefers those, and I prefer makeup remover pads, so I try to keep them all handy.
