Labrum London has partnered with Adidas to design the Arsenal FC 24/25 away kit, celebrating the deep-rooted connection between the football club and the African diaspora in London and beyond. The kit features a unique black and white zig-zag pattern that symbolizes the movement and flow of people. This hand-drawn motif, inspired by African artifacts, decor, and designs, extends from under the arm, down the sides, and onto the shorts. The jersey, constructed with Heat.Rdy technology to enhance airflow and keep players cool, also showcases a reworked Labrum London logo across all items.
Accompanying the team kit is a five-piece capsule collection aimed at fans of both the men’s and women’s Premier League teams. This collection includes two jackets, a tee, a jumper, and track pants, all featuring the same striking patterns and vibrant colorways. These pieces are made with Aeroready technology, utilizing sweat-wicking and absorbent materials to keep the body dry. The jumper and T-shirt are adorned with Labrum’s ‘Nomoli’ icon, a symbol of protection and prosperity rooted in the Mende and Kissi tribes of Sierra Leone. The jersey, jackets, and track pants incorporate a deconstructed version of this icon.
Continuing his mission to share Africa’s untold stories, Labrum founder and creative director expressed his pride in collaborating with Arsenal. Reflecting on his experiences as a second-generation immigrant growing up in London, he mentioned how influential Arsenal players with African heritage were in his life. These players, who played beautifully and represented a broader community, served as role models. The collaboration with Arsenal, a club with strong ties to this community, is a significant achievement for him.
The campaign, featuring players such as Gabriel dos Santos Magalhaes, Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice, Alessia Russo, and Beth Mead, alongside Arsenal legend Nwankwo Kanu, showcases the evocative sportswear. Kanu expressed his pride in representing both his club and heritage through Labrum London’s design. He praised the kit for its stylish representation of the connection to players of African descent and supporters in Islington and around the world, and he looks forward to seeing the teams wear it next season.
The new Arsenal away kit by Labrum and Adidas is available for purchase in Arsenal FC stores, selected Adidas retail outlets, online through Adidas and Labrum’s websites, and at the Labrum London Store.
