Chronoswiss Expands Flying Regulator Night & Day Series with Two New Models

Chronoswiss has introduced two new dial variations to its Flying Regulator Night & Day collection. Each limited edition steel-cased timepiece offers an artistic interpretation of Chronoswiss’s current 41mm regulator dial series, emphasizing the large central minute hand set against smaller hour and seconds indicators. The Night & Day versions feature a dedicated handcrafted day/night subdial at 9 o’clock.

Making its debut is the Flying Regulator Night & Day Midnight timepiece, featuring a blue guilloché dial—a darker iteration of Chronoswiss’s signature product.

This deep blue version is designed to evoke the night sky and comes with a three-dimensional day/night display adorned with laser-cut stars.

On the other hand, or should we say on the wrist in this case, the new Flying Regulator Day & Night Light watch echoes scenes from the day, particularly the atmospheric “light” when the horizon merges with the sky.

Chronoswiss has also crafted a hand-guilloché dial for this timepiece, aiming to evoke memories of this natural phenomenon of lightening during the day.

As mentioned earlier, both of these new watches retain the distinctly unique Chronoswiss regulator dial layout, complete with prominently displayed hour and minute subdials. The three-dimensional dials of this series showcase the ETA-based Chronoswiss C.296 automatic movement through an aperture on the small seconds subdial.

And of course, the movement can also be seen through the sapphire caseback, a feature pioneered by Chronoswiss in the 1980s.
